About

Ki Hi Mekor HaBracha , Shabbos is the source of blessing.
According to the Zohar, all weekday blessings and success come from the holiness of Shabbos.

The gates to spiritual and material blessing are open on Shabbos. “G-d blessed the seventh day and sanctified it” Bereishis 2:3. When we rest from our material strivings and worries on Shabbos, we make room for a real relationship with G-d. We are His guests and He wants us to celebrate with good food, beautiful clothes and a home that is prepared for a royal visit. Learning about the power of Shabbos can help you to get the most out of this special day, and the blessings that it can bring.

Shabbat Shalom Greetings is devoted to helping you connect to the blessings of Shabbos. Celebrating Shabbos gives each and every Jew access to the holiness that lies within them. Then, like a cup flowing over, the blessings of Shabbos spill over into the following week. The Gemara (Shabbos 118a) states that whoever brings joy to Shabbos is rewarded with a boundless heritage of blessing.

Our goal is to help you access that blessing. Infuse your Shabbos with more meaning and connection. Connection to your friends and family through our greetings; connection to Shabbos through inspirational stories and recipes; connection to more meaning through books and links to learn more about each week’s Parsha and Torah.

Ultimately, we hope that you will use this site to connect to the real Source of all blessings.
Wishing you all the best, and of course…

a Shabbat Shalom u’Mevorach! A Shabbos of Peace and Blessing!
